Back when I was young and stupid (as opposed to being old and stupid now), I used to be really big into Sonic. I did the whole schtick making dumb comics out of video game sprites by ghetto-spraypainting Sonic and friends to be different colors. I grew out of it a long time ago but I was surprised to find out that people still do it. Psyguy is still somehow popular, even though his art hasn't changed at all in ten years and he's still awful. That's sad.

I had a point to this, I think.

Demetri was one of the characters I made oh-so-fucking-long ago. He's one of the few that I still claim as my own. He started out as a Shadow recolor (ORIGINAL CHARACTER DO NOT STEAL). He recently got a name-change and some pretty heavy plastic surgery, and here he is. He kept the hair (feather, actually) style as a sort of a tribute.

I've thought about making a comic again sometime for my own personal amusement but I think I'll be staying away from the Sonic recolors this time.
