The Fall of Life

In childhood, you're in the clouds, high up and blinded by them. Unaware of your coming fall.

Then school and such begin, and so begins the fall. The clouds clear and you can see what lies behind them, all the truthful ground revealed.

After a bit, you pick where you want to fall and try to point yourself in that direction. As you speed toward the ground, maybe you pick another place to fall, or maybe you're already too close to the ground to change. Some never decide before they hit.

When you reach the ground, the shock puts you off, but you know you're there. Some fall right where they want, some miss and make their way to where they want to be. Others just give up and lie where they fall.

The rest get up and enjoy their little spot of earth, some realize that they want to be elsewhere, so they go. Others just hit the ground so hard they're stuck.

Got struck with inpsiration and went with it, and I like it. The arms coulda been better, but I guess it's mostly ok.
