if you plan to keep it a daily, and add some boost, I can offer you help with a general direction and parts selection.
For daily + boost, the auto would be a better choice, and this is from my experience. My stock auto held 550hp/500tq with only a second transmission cooler added and Amsoil ATF fluid. I built two other turbo IS300s, both manual, and both had the stock trans go out at roughly 400hp. If you don't mind adding a transmission to your list of upgrades, a manual is fine. Depending on your power goals, either a w58 out of the SC/NA Supra or r154 (mk3 Supra turbo manual trans) will suffice.
