It is, however, venemous, as are all spiders.
This specimen looks like either a grass spider or a wolf spider. I'm leaning towards wolf, because grass spiders have large spinnerets which are visible from above (they stick out past end of abdomen) and grass spiders also have much more coarse "hair" spines on their legs.
Either way, not dangerous to humans (unless you happen to be alergic) but depending on species (venom cocktail varies), the bite might be painful.

The best way to tell though is the eyes. wolf spiders have 4 small eyes in a row on bottom, 2 large eyes in a row in middle, and 2 medium eyes in a row on top. Grass spiders have 3 rows (2-4-2) and all eyes are same size.
