It's a Shayla! She's a friend of mine at the weekly meets I go to, and is the only other person sitting in the artist's corner of the restaurant whilst everyone else talks and such. ^^
She makes me think pretty strongly of a friend back in my home state, plus the bird sounds she makes are absolutely adorable and impressive.
She showed me her character design not long ago, and seeing as there's not really that much art out there of her, and that her design is really neat, I was inspired to create this. :3
She seemed to like it a lot, which makes me very happy.
In addition to being one of the first pictures in a long time I've drawn that's got wings in it, it's also the first picture I've ever colored with markers! Thanks to  ladyvixenkia for letting me borrow them! ^-^
