I wanted to take a break from commissions to draw a more loving picture. Lately I've been feeling all cuddly since I haven't gotten to see Chloe in a bit, due to being busy or being sick, so not being able to go to jams.
I debated having them clothed, maybe pajamas, because that's what I usually prefer. But having them nude, yet still clean, adds to the tenderness in my opinion. Especially when you take in mind the personalities. Neko is very shy and self conscious, so being pretty open this way does mean a lot.

I think their being nude does help to give this picture a certain special something. The openness is a big part of it. I think that, for most people, it's a pretty big step to be able to be comfortable being nude in front of someone else and, speaking as someone else who is pretty shy and self-conscious, I know how big a deal it is to be able to be so relaxed with someone. But I think that what really makes this shine is how casual they are. We, as a society, are so conditioned to think of nudity as something sexual that there is almost always at least some hint of that even in romantic pictures. But here, they're just hanging out, and I think you've really captured the feel of a relationship that is mature enough that you're just happy to wake up next to them every morning, or to lie around and talk about whatever is on your mind. I think that's wonderful.

It's because people just keep bringing it up over and over, and because Neko isn't the only person I've seen treated this way. I really don't see why people care about someone's sexual orientation so much. But I apologize for misinterpreting the tone of your statement. I often find it hard to read emotes like that. They simply register as typos to me.

I don't really like jokes like that, mostly because as Velox said, I've gotten a lot of comments about it. But they weren't jokes. People have been really mean about it and thinking it's a big deal. I've also had someone label me as bi, me personally not the character, simply because I'm ok with drawing these things, despite me telling them I'm straight. In their eyes, you can't be straight if you're ok with this art. So it's a bit of a touchy subject right now.

Sorry, no offense was meant. Really? People really think that if you can draw bisexual art then you have to be bisexual irl? O.o That's a fucked up mindset some people have. Sounds like these people can't keep RL and fiction separate. Again I apologize as I meant no harm.

you had me fooled as well for a while there
it doesnt help that you seem to have an IRL relationship with chloe (non romantic im assuming) people make the logic leap that the art reflects your relations with chloe in a more literal fashion
i know its a tenuous leap of lgic but wel thats people for ya
personally though the fact you and cloe arnt actually a couple doesnt detract from the sweetness of the photos
though being a biologist and seeing a reptile with mammal (with their respective 'plumbing arrangements')makes me scratch my head and think 'how on earth do you get that to work out' (

I've always loved your work but I do think this is my favorite drawing of yours! I know I don't comment a lot but I really do love the love and tenderness of this peice and wish I was close enough to a girl to just cuddle with her and possibly have a relationship with. Your aa very lucky kitty and I can't wait to see more of your two chataters
An ollld pic, but only just now found you're the source of these. I loved this little storyline between Chloe and Neko. Was sad to see it apparently end, but the parts that are done are still heart-warming. Sorry for the necro-post, just felt it needed to be said and reason for favoriting.
