No. Laika not survived, but these two was the first being that made it to the space and came back alive.

That's one of the things I regret with the dissolution of the USSR. The end of the USSR meant the end of its space exploration. I guess I have to forget about going to Mars, or even the Moon.

We have to work together now to slowly conquer space. We will fly to the stars, but later. We'll never see that, but i sure that humanity will find a way to reach the other stars.

politics has their head stuck so far up their ass hey dont even care about space travel, or even see stars. the rich however do, and they are planning to make a profit from it.
