I'm sorry to have brought it up, though without April fool's involved, I wouldn't have. One of the subchapters of the Theory of Rock states that the presence of Christopher Walken makes anything better, but the cowbell thing got old a long time ago.

Plus, I'd rather watch good stand-up over SNL hands down, always, at all times.

It's bad enough when people aren't funny, but it's even worse when they're not funny and think they're REALLY funny. At least MadTV's been quite good lately.

They're the current fake news casters. Every joke they do is either stating the obvious (then repeating it, because things are funnier the second time), taking an unrelated news story to brag about how slutty they are, or doing the worst Bush/Cheney/whoever impressions I've ever heard, which all sound like their normal voices except a bit scruffier and whispered. THEN you've got Horatio Sanz who spends every skit struggling to read the cue cards..At least TV still has Iron Chef, homemade robot battles, and The Daily Show/Colbert Report.
