Whoo, it's been quite a while, hasn't it? I have to admit, I have been keeping myself quite busy lately with all kinds of stuff! Some of it you saw; my attempts at drawing! I've also been working on an old scene I had laying around for a story I've been working on with a friend of mine, and there's the Mara & Celeste novel I started writing last year, too! That one actually needs a lot of work still, so, yeh, I've been occupied! And in all honesty, it also kind of seemed as if Celeste had taken a leave from her occupation as my muse for a while, probably to peruse all her own wacky things =Þ
But of course, I'm not gonna let that keep me down! Despite all the things that have been keeping me busy, I'm still not letting my most popular characters just sit there and do nothing!
As it happened, the socializing I've been doing lately suddenly provided me with a scene in my mind which I just couldn't pass up! It starts out a little bit unpleasant, and we actually see Celeste acting in a way that's like totally not expected of her, too! But it all makes sense, and of course, Celeste's involved, so it has a happy end too!
So here we go! Another little (well, okay, not that little) story featuring our beloved ditzy white kitty, with this time a prominent second role for one of the new characters that were introduced recently; Jennifer, the young adopted margay daughter of the plushy silver Burmilla kitty Bellatrix!
Enjoy! And of course...

I must say that it was a joy to read this story :) you seem to put a lot of feeling into the characters and your work. I wish I had half the writing chops you have :) I keep getting nasty cases of writers block blargh..but anyway Just had to say I enjoyed the story and am happily waiting your next story when your muse gets back from vacation...I think mine decided to stay a tad longer on it's vacation lol. Weeeel it is late/early like 1am or so for me so sleep is calling my name! Take care and keep up the great work!
Aww, thanks, dear, and thank you for the fave too!
*smiles and nodnods*
Yeh, I do always try to put a lot of feeling and compassion into my characters - it's actually the main reason I stink at creating villains =Þ But of course, the fact my characters come out so well is also helped along by the fact I have over 26 years of experience in writing =~.^=
*chuckles*
But yeh, I definitely know how you feel, I get bouts of writer's block all the time too (I just blame it on my muse being away on vacation =Þ). But there are things to help get past that, like just writing random things as often as you can, even if you don't use any of them in any stories. Or RP-ing, when you have a good RP-partner that is just like writing a story, except that you do it with two people =~.^=
