Oh boy a Space Wyvern!

A future creature for my SciFi game, Stellarmass.

Space Wyverns are sorta like the sea slugs of space (and indeed design wise they are based off sea slugs!). They are enormous whale sized creatures, that glide through space, feeding off stellar particles and energy through their sponge-like tentacles adoring their bodies. They are composed of a gelatinous like materiel that is semi transparent, allowing them to hide among stellar gasses and dust.

Space Wyverns are completely harmless, but have an annoying habit of attaching themselves to passing large class space ships in order to gain a free ride to a new feeding ground. Their front legs are actually function like a suction cup, allowing them to attach to passing asteroids, and sometimes space ships, in order to conserve energy. Thankfully, sending astronauts outside the ship to poke them a few times is enough to send a space wyvern off.
