From the Tales of the Cat's-Eye Curse
They call me Bast. I was once a human, and a fearless explorer. I was known across the land for my adventuring prowess and keen eye for shiny things. My way was trinkets and treasure, and I so desired their luster and gleam, that I sought to pilfer every land, every civilization, ancient and new, for their valuables.
One day, however... I took an artifact known as the "Cat's Eye" from a temple protected by the ancient race of Myu. I stirred their spirits and aroused their wrath.
Now, I prowl on paws, padded and furred, as I seek my prey. My eyes see what I have not seen before; they have enhanced my insight into my foes. My ears twitch at the prospect of bloodlust, and my heart beats with nine lives.
For the Myu not only gave me a new form, but a piece of their ancient power. And a burning desire for more.
That is what I want, and all I care for now. I will conquer humankind and Pokekind alike to achieve that end. The Legendaries have gathered together and have risen up against me, but it is no matter. I will destroy all those who oppose me.
That includes you, Victini!
For I will not be royalty, or even Legend!
I will be a deity.

Aw, that's awesome! You have such an unusual, uncharacteristic, very awkward style...that is so artistic and amazing that I am completely floored! Your art reminds me of...uh...Rembrandt? No. Van Gosh? No. Er...the painter who draws things in very unusual and different ways, and yet makes them look really stunning! That guy.

Well, thank you for the compliment! Ultimately, this work's just another in the long road of learning, for me. Guarantee it in another year, my style will be completely different.
