Actually, I think it's interesting as it is. Color/tone, perhaps?

Hmm, maybe. I was thinking more along the lines of fleshing out the poses into characters of some kind, but that's not too bad of an idea either. At the very least, adding some further tone or color might be a good intermediate step.
