Me, next to an armor plated cargo truck. They had more power and load capacity than any Humvee will ever imagine having, plus, they offer a better view of the road and surroundings.

The non armored ones are better. less top-heavy, less nose-heavy. The units that featured cabs that were actually designed for the addition of armor plates feature a rear "bumper" that consists of between 6 and 10 steel plates. 3/4 inch thick. 6 to 8 inches wide. The full width of the truck. I figure that "Bumper" weighs over a ton. That kind of weight distribution can make maneuvering... tricky. One of our trucks went for a ride, rolled over, stood on its nose, then continued on to its other side. The frame was actually buckled.
The non-armored ones are a ton of fun to toss around on pretty much any terrain. I just wish they came with air horns.
