Sure Avira knew better, but he honestly couldn't help himself tonight, his tail wiggled impatiently back and forth as he followed in the guards shadows behind pillar after pillar, the moon was high overhead, full and bright, beaming down into the spacious temple. It made him excited, his favorite part was always outsmarting the guard, and having the stage almost spotlighted felt like a reward, more than what was waiting for him in the other chamber.

Slithering across the room, he made his way to the brazier but didn't anticipate the boxes just past his vision, he stumbled into them, knocking something down, cursed under his breath and ran with the soft of his pads across the hall, there was no way the guards didn't hear that..
