My grandma bought that for us! I love it enough to use it, and that's something. The place needs more decoration, but it's so tiny that functionality and storage space end up taking priority. :c

Well, Mike and I have the same laptop, then xD Nightmare Before Christmas stuff has seen a resurgence in popularity the last couple of years. Which is good, because it enabled me to get my 10 years younger sister into it.

Yeah, isn't that weird? When I saw all these really young kids with Nightmare Before Christmas merch, I was like "Whoa. That's still cool?! I grew up on that!" It's as bizarre as it is pleasantly exciting! I'll probably get my son into it either way.

My sister and I have added it to our family's yearly "before Christmas" watching, along with the Muppet Christmas Carol and Mixed Nuts.

Same! Though ours includes Bad Santa, Jingle All The Way, and the finale Santa episodes from Invader Zim.

I know, right? When I first saw the place I was like "Oh how cozy!" and then I saw the medicine cabinet, and it was full of every kind of pill, and a buttload of old condoms and wrappers and I was like "NOT COZY. OH GOD."

I think I went through an entire bottle of concentrated bleach. -_-' This place is not in the best shape anyway, and it's a temporary thing. We need a bigger apartment in the next couple years. SO looking forward to that.

We're hoping to move in the next three months to a better neighborhood. Ours isn't the greatest. We have enough room but egh.

We returned the beer empties and there was $50 worth in crates stacked floor-to-ceiling. It was crazy. So much bleach.

That's exciting! :D We like the building we're in, so we're kind of hoping another unit in the same building will open up.

Might just be me, but it's amazing how a little bit of cleaning can do wonders for the soul, and mind. Just putting a general 'ease' or comfort.. calm over one self. Least for me.

I agree! I find I really get depressed when I can't find time to keep everything tidy, and that I'm far more productive and happy when things are clean. I feel the same way about showers, too. A good shower can turn the whole day around. ^^ It's like scrubbing the dirt right out of my brain.

And warm.. soothing waters... Showers are a lot of fun. Good to wake up, good to relax. Plus feeling 'fresh and clean' really puts a spring in your step :)

I see what looks like Jack Skellington magnets, and a bottle of dish detergent. Looks like I gotta go tell the admins you're violating the AUP again.
