Also the Rush games have proven themselves to be... FUN.

Sonic and the Secret Rings is suprisingly nice as well.

Well, from what I know, Sonic didn't learn to grind until Sonic Adventure 2, but those don't have any level...uhh...I'm going with either Sonic Rush (Leaf Storm) or Sonic Rush Adventures (Plant Kingdom), but I'm going with Leaf Storm.

I bet I'm one of the very few SEGA fans who would still love to try Sonic the Hedgehog '06. I know everyone said it sucks and it's the worst Sonic game, but...hey, I might think differently. You never know. I'm willing to give it a shot...everyone has their own opinion, so...you know. XP

But...I don't own a 360 nor a PS3, so it'll have to wait a while. No matter what others say, I'm going to play it. XD

Oh I will too. I'm waiting for the PC version so I can go to the store to rent the game. And then proudly said what an abysmal piece it was.

I don't think Sonic '06 will be released on the PC anytime soon from what I heard, never actually. So the only way to play is to play it on a console. I'm willing too, I just hope I know someone with a 360.

"Don't knock it, till you try it."

Check youtube vids. The game is a giant land of nothingness in which you run at high speed, with enemies popping out of blue in the most annoying spots, or just passing by them and pay no mind, just dodging hazards in which you fall in and die. Repeatedly. With the worst loading times of all history, and due to how broken and buggy the game is, you'll end up needing to restart very often.
Graphics-wise it's not so grand either, and I read that the missions are godawfully boring.

I've seen gameplay videos, cutscenes, and I know the whole storyline, including about Silver the hedgehog, plus the ending. I'm still willing to give a shot. Sorry, but I don't really care what others say and do, I rather experience it myself.

I haven't owned a new Sonic game since Riders.

I don't care to buy the others, as they don't catch my interest, what with the all the pointless extra shit that isn't even Sonic anyway. (WTF, mind control? Genies?)

I'd get Rush, but I stopped caring about portables since Advance3. They were good, closer to Sonic roots (adv 1, especially) but they just didn't, y'know, stand out.

Sadly, I think I'm going to end up as one of those Riders junkies, since the music is good, the speed is great, and the stages are fun. Aside from Riders, though, I don't see myself ever touching another Sonic game.

Actually Coral Cave is one of the speediest. Plant Kingdom doesn't really stand out if it wasn't for the bouncing mushroom heads. I like Sky Babylon because it has catchy music, colorful sceneries, and a nice speed. And those springs that shoot you in the background of the stage. :D
