Another one inspired by the piano playing of someone I know...I knew this one should be as realistic as possible, though I was a bit frightened at the fact that I could actually paint the rocks without a reference XD Same with the flower...I GOT references! I even found flowers at school and got a picture from my mom's work of a stream to reference rocks and water and stuff...The only thing I really needed a reference for was the way the water shined/looked O.o Other than that, I mostly just used the stream pic to glance at to make sure I knew what color stream rocks should be.
Done in Acrylics on 11"x14" canvas board....It's only almost 4am on the night before finals start and I have a poster due on Tuesday I haven't even started...Just a normal night for me! XD
Also, the colors are warmer on this than they are in person...I was trying to make the flower look the right pink color and ended up making the rocks look a bit too warm XD Oh well!

well afterall... technically... flowers ARE plant genitals.
well, i see it as... a scaly rocky dragoness being penetrated, and the flower's pistil is the underside view, with a visible butthole.
but in all seriousness, this is very expertly done. The blending and color matching. Especially the water glare, which most people shy away from. that's rare. Some of the more overrated painting artists even avoid it.

OMG I told a friend your comment and he said the SAME thing about flowers being plant vaginas XD *Tries seeing what you saw, headtilts, squints, rinse, repeat* XD
Also, thank you so much! ^^ <3 I was a bit nervous about the water shine myself, but you never get better unless you try and challenge yourself! ^^
