Okay, I think I'm finally 100% on this design. XD This is my MLP character Amphora, who delights in blowing glass! I'm kind of afraid she looks kinda pinkish because of the background color I chose, but she is red.

The character is in the pink range. in photoshop use "Curves" and set input to "154" and output to "135" that should bring out the red your talking about.
