a gift art piece for Whisp3r

i love this character. but sadly im relaly NOT happy at all with this

but then again this image was me practising further in open canvas. trying to figure out what coloring and shading method works the best.to explain:
i used to use ps elements 6. it was great for years. now suddenly its corrupted or some shit.
ive tried using:
corel painter 11
open canvas
sai painter
and

so far i like sai. WHICH IS also the only one i dont OWN and just borrowed for a test run,WTF. fml

whatever. when looking at this keep in mind its been well over a few years since i have digitally drawn ANYTHING.

tail is not as long as i would like either....fuck it. im so mad at this.

sorry i feel like the artist deserved alot better than this....may redraw...sometime....maybe.
