I tend to doodle a lot during class, especially my Psychology of Art lectures. Our professor is a great guy, but his mind tends to wander. Anyway, today we were talking about abstraction and the like and we did a little excercise where we drew human nudes that had to be touching three different sides of the paper. This was supposed to force us to be more dynamic. This is what I came up with and yes, I know the proportions are off and her right arm is far too thick, especially near the shoulder and her legs are too short...but I like it. She reminded me of a bird in flight and while you can't see it here, I actually colored her in quite darkly, hence, "the crow".
