For those wondering what a typical Lasarian looks like, here you go. No, they are not all red, read on to see how colors are aquired. Quick samplinz. Sorry I didn't spend too much time on it, but bleh XD
Arkadus was born to an upper class rank of Lasarians. When small, his color took immediate attention. Though he is not an elemental, there had been one in his family roughly 5 generations ago, and the color runs strong within bhis bloodline.
Though he will never become an imperial due to his small fin size, his grand color and silky coat will help him to achieve a position with the imperial guard of Lasair.
Each lasarian's color is determined by the element from their lineage. Those closest in generation to the elemental born to their bloodline will boast the brightest of its colors.
Unfortunately for those with little to no relation to an elemental, their colors will grow to be dull or plain, thus hindering their ability to achieve a high ranking mate.
Arkadus has high expectations for himself and his own lineage, and he will prove it by taking first in flight for his generation. His poise and grace will assure him an important role in Lasarian society.

look, shin and I are friends, and I have had these characters a LONG time, like posted online since 2001 long time, and I am more than tired of white knighting fans coming and accusing me of theft openly on my art.
Every dragon that has a slightly orange color is not Shinerai. And I can't believe the fact that you went and linked to shin's page on MY art. And then when I showed disdain for your comment, you further accused me! Shin herself even wrote a journal addressing people like you, and asking that you all STOP HARASSING other artists, especially when you think you are doing good.
Okay, now that I have that off my chest--
Here, exerpt from Shin's journal:
"Even beyond that, sometimes the ones you're flaming are actually the original source of inspiration and are totally innocent. Everyone automatically assumes that the more popular artist is the one who has done it first. But as a recent example, Shinerai's 2009 design was overly long and fluffy, an obvious knockoff of =Lazeros's Lasarian race (unintended by me, but there it is). But since I'm the more popular one, Lazeros was the one badgered and hounded repeatedly for apparently copying me even though I'm the one who was influenced by her. "
And because I doubt you would believe me, read it for yourself in her own journal, it's one of the last paragraphs:

I got rid of the comment because it automatically attracts more comments exactly like it. Believe me, deleting it is far less drama than dealing with more people with the same accusations. Confusion is one thing, but once you start posting links, it shows your true intention.
I'm not really sure why She prefers to keep a male account, I forget her page says that every time I talk about her, since I know she's female, I accidentally always use "she" and "her." But I don't mind what she puts on her page, she's still the same nice person, and since you don't know her personally, it shouldn't change your opinion of her either way.

Ok maybe I'm simple minded but with the journal link the thing is clear, and everyone that thinks the same as me before see now directly that he is wrong.
I don't know if i find the right words but I hope you undersand what I mean
And Sorry that I linked Shines Art before
The reason for that was, here in germany the others always says - Put up evidence or shut up!
so we show directly why we think things like that. I didn't know that are so many differences between countries - for that I apologize
