Okay here is how I put it all together. ** The clips are plastic so be cautious if you are really wanting to use this for animals.**

1) I measured the fabric just shorter of the strap (cause I like the white border) and ironed it flat.
2) Machine sewed the fabric to the strap with excess strap (non fabric sewed) on both sides.
3) Machine sewed the strap to center post of the adjuster. Threaded it threw the buckle (with the Dremeled part) then through the D clip, and through the other end piece.
4) Machine sewed the strap to itself on both sides of the D clip to keep it in one position.
5) Finished it with the Omamori knot and bells. (Just for reference the Omamori knot is normally on little luck charms here in Japan. I chose to put this on my collar just like my puppy's collar for 2 reasons. For luck and to match his collar that I bought at a local shrine. It was never meant to disrespect any religion so please don't take it that way.)
