A younger Loki, with a younger Ruga eating Boton fruit in Loki's green house, located at post Denver Military Base -Earth. It was always warm inside that green house, humid with the sprinkler system running for 20 seconds once a day on a timer to nourish Loki's garden; plants that were brought from his homeworld. The trickle of water running into the bucket was from a leak in the sprinkler system that Loki hadn't found the time to repair yet. Eventually he got around to it. In Ruga's younger days, he and Loki were incredibly close; Loki raising Ruga from the time he was born as though he were his own son, though Ruga referred to him as uncle, while as the human General Gordon Laplani had legally adopted him to protect him from EUGAD. It was impossible for the general with his position to care for the growing boy as he would have liked to on a regular basis, so Loki generally most of the time had him in his care -whether or not if he was busy working on the disc craft project. Loki, adored Ruga in those younger days. Ruga with his playing or drawing with chalk over everything were pleasant and wanted distractions from Loki's forced life at Denver, after all, they were the only two Tethicans left for billions of miles. Ruga grew up knowing Loki as the only other fellow Tethican, never meeting another. This also eventually caused tension on Ruga's end, and eventually Ruga grew apart from Loki. Loki however, ended up with empty nest syndrome.

Loki has marks and wounds on his body from four things: fighting with other male Tethicans, fighting human EUGAD military, being a prisoner under EUGAD, and climbing Boton trees. The latter of which Gunther and Heimlich often teased him about as they were rather close to him, and it was quite funny to watch Loki fight with a tree over pieces of fruit. Boton tree bark is covered in wax and sharp spines which make it very difficult to harvest the fruit. However, Boton fruit being a Tethicans favorite, Loki was always willing to brave the climb in those days of Ruga's youth. As Ruga got older, eventually the task became his, and Ruga ended up with similiar marks; fighting with military, fighting with Loki, and climbing Boton trees. The easiest method of of climbing a Boton Tree is without shoes and a shirt, as yellow hairs from the tree and fruit are apt to fall into the clothing and cause major itchy frustration. Heimlich forced Loki to put caution tape all over his Boton fruit boxes, because Heimlich could never go anywhere near the yellow hairs or he would break out in hives and sneezing fits. He wanted to be well informed whenever Loki has a Boton box about in his green house. To most humans and Tethicans, the fruits yellow hair is annoying and itchy, where as to some humans it causese allergic reactions. The fruit its self is unpleasant to most human taste and can cause stomach aches, but can also work as medicine. Tethicans use it for food and medicine. Ruga as a teen, used the fruit hair to pull pranks on Loki, the general, heimlich and Gunther much to their frustration or allergic responses. Boton Fruit flesh has a similar taste to black salt licorice which Loki and Ruga, love it.

I tried so very hard with the composition here. I wanted this little area of the green house to look as if a child played there often.
