I agree with this. I hate Cockroaches and Palmetto bugs. Had a palmetto bug land on my hand when I was in my laundry room yesterday.

They're not much fun in the house what with all the poops, but I absolutely love seeing them in the wild/keeping them in contained areas to study as I've done for many years now with over 20 different species <3 Fascinating, intelligent, wonderful creatures with a very unfortunate reputation. You represented this guy so beautifully for someone who hates them!

I warned my parents about Cockroaches in the house, of course I was ignored, then one day one tried to climb up into my bed (others I saw could apparently fly too).

That was the final straw! Went to the store, got some roach tablets, placed them all over the place and now I barely see one.

I am rather fascinated with roaches, of all breeds. They can withstand much more hardship than the common insect, and they actually have a high intelligence for a insect. Never have loved living with them, but studying them and actually getting to understand their life cycle and way of life is more than intriguing. While many say disgusting or ew, this image makes me want to go awe ^^
