Day 01: Favorite Pokemon

TL;DR - All of these are my favorite pokemon! No, I’m not choosing between them.

Okay…I refuse to choose between any of these Pokemon. I love each one pretty much the same amount for completely different reasons. I consider Bulbasaur/Ivysaur/Venusaur one pokemon because when I had Pokemon Blue (yep, old school) Bulbasaur was my starter pokemon (and pretty much my very first pokemon evar) and the amount of joy I had whenever it evolved was ridiculous. I never removed it from my team until I traded it to my Pokemon Silver game (which got corrupted and took all my favorite pokemon with it… ;______; I refuse to touch that cartridge to this day.) I caught a Gastly in Lavender Town (I used to go there just to listen to the music.) and as a Haunter it became the pokemon I brought out if I wanted to destroy any opposing pokemon. Hypnosis and Dream Eater…two moves and done. So satisfying. I was actually sad when it evolved into Gengar when I traded it into my Silver game (I forgot that’s how they evolve), but still always had it on my team. Then we have Mew…who doesn’t love Mew? I thought and still do think it is one of the most adorable pokemon. I drew countless Mew doodles back in middle and high school. There is a very personal reason I adore Mew and Haunter. Also, why now I cannot draw one without the other. <3
