I have a massive animation project coming up for my final quarters at the Art Institute. It spans over three quarters. Right now, i'm in the preproduction quarter, but I wanted to do some animation tests.
Turns out, while animating quadrupeds is so super easy for me its not even funny....bipeds are effin hard D8 And that was WITH the muybridge ostrich dancing across my screen XD
Anyways, these still need some work, and i know there are some anatomy issues, some movement issues, and some glitchy spines on the sauropelta, but I'll fix those later, when i get into the nitty and the gritty of this stuff. This was just a test to show the teacher I am actually working on stuff >.>
And I don't know why the walking sauropelta keeps shrinking, i'll fix it later...

Thank you! I'll fix that up when I get into the hard-core animation >.> Thank you for the tip!
Honestly, if I were animating according to Walking with Dinosaurs, then nothing as big and heavy as most of the heavyweight dinos were would have more than one leg off the ground at a time. But its hard to do a chase scene without a running prey critter, and in my (very un-informed) opinion, if a Rhino can do it, why can't a Sauro? XD

No problem :D
XD
Well, it's down to how sauropods are built and the fact they get SO MASSIVE. They're built for steady pacing, like elephants, so they wouldn't run like rhinos.
HOWEVER ceratopsians WERE the size of elephants and did run very much like rhinos, it's all down to the legs and seeing where the attaching points for muscles are :D
I'm no paleo expert but I can give you as many hints as you need, lol.
