Guess what? Another technical exercise! This time, I used the wrong end of a paintbrush. Why? No, I do know how to hold a paintbrush, but I think that this sort of rough-edged, unpolished paint style is particularly expressive.

Perhaps it's the unpolished look of each stroke of paint? One user has favoured the technique that I adopted to make this, that is, use the wrong end of a paintbrush. Or maybe it's that mouth thing (I'm sure there's a name for it) which makes cats look like they're always smiling? The one on this cat is a little too well defined: looks a bit like a cartoon...
