My client,
sabredragon commissioned this from me at FE 2012. After four fires, it's done! I'm always happy to paint a handsome dragon!

Handsome dragon? *Looks over shoulder, scratching his headscales when he doesn't see anyone. Turns around pointing to himself* wait... me...? XD
I can't thank you enough for doing such a beautiful and brilliant job on my mug Sandy! It sits proudly on my bookshelf beside my computer at eye level, and I get to catch a glimpse of a Sabre waving goodbye each time I leave the room, hehe! Although you mentioned this mug was dishwasher safe (I think), or at least handwash safe, I'm not willing to take the risk after how gorgeous of a job you did!
Taking a flat picture of a round 3D object like a mug is much more trickier than I thought! You managed to do a good job though. This is one of those situations where as good as a picture is, there is nothing quite like the original. It is quite a sight to see!
I love how cute and friendly you made Sabre look, with his cute open mouth and friendly-looking face. I especially love the detail you did in his visible eye. What's cute is that Sabre's snout looks quite a bit shorter in this depiction, giving him a bit of a younger look. I always remembered hatching dragons or younger dragons as having shorter snouts and horns.
I really love how powerfully you represented his wings sprouting from his back! All the musculature and details look amazing! Even though only half his body is shown wrapped around the mug, I love how you were able to include all his upper body parts (wings, horns, tail, etc).
The colours and background all came out incredibly well, and really stand out boldly! I really appreciate all the multiple fires you did to get it to this state. It's such a wonderful souvenir to have. Thank you so much for all your hard work on it! ^.=.^
