I was once told that our beliefs color the way in which we view the world.

People have held onto many delusions about time, but no one really wants to come to terms with the fact that life is, in a sense, a borrowing process. We somehow get caught up in petty things like homophobia and intoxication. Our time in the flesh is a perpetually fleeting moment! As rare as life in the universe seems to be, we have managed to stamp a dollar value on it, on ourselves, on something that can never be replaced, backed up by a warranty or even remotely understood...

Yet we accept these mentally crippling circumstances, tell ourselves that everything will be alright and march ever onwards towards imminent departure just hoping that what we leave behind won't be meaningless. Personally, I hope the dismantling of cultural illusions accompanies the footprints I leave behind...
