A close up of the handle with the trigger to let out some slack in the line and the unseen button just above it that would actually set off all the mines.

The centre of the cord contains a wire that sends an electrical charge to each of the mines, from the farthest to the closest. There's enough slack in the reel to give the user enough room to put between him and the wrapped target and run after pressing the button.

Again, inspired by loving the MS-18E Kampfer way too much.
