The homemade oven is special for hardening and tempering long blades, for swords or other weapons. I can choose the temperature from 0 to 1100C. So this construction is perfect for heat-treating. I can heat blades from a maximal lenght of 95cm.

I believe it has an inductive heating coil spiraled around the entirety of that black cylinder. The box monitors temperature and switches the coil on/off to maintain a certain temperature within a few degrees and heats the interior of the cylinder, and the sword in it, to whatever temperature is chosen on the dial.
When i saw the video were you made Börmerkoog Swordsax patternweldet, i thought it was an induction heater, i was astonished because such ting would be very expensive, especially one of this size but now i see is a electric heater oven, still i like it has a high temperature range, how much power do it needs?
