I'm adding this to my personal canon.
What annoyed me most about Cerebella's story was the Skull Heart's claim at the end that she, of all people, had a pure soul. Not the multiple other characters who demonstrate a willingness to sacrifice themselves in order to save others, but the mafia goon with the most selfish objective of them all (get cosy with the mob boss). That is such bull.

Yap, they try to cover it up by making Vitale her father figure since she's an orphan...but they really don't look like a father/daughter setup to me lol. Plus pure love doesn't make sense since she's a leg-breaker for the mafia and obviously does evil things. She's either blind to her situation or just really stupid...either way not a character I feel any compassion for.
But yeah, her ending really does suck in multiple ways compared to the rest D:
