Got this here done yesterday!! Got spongebob and Patrick rocko with his dog spunky and of course reptar with gir on top lol I will get it colored in when it heals and whatnot but all the credit goes to the tattoo artist for sure he did a great job too :)

Your tattoos are really cool, and I will say that you are unique in that you probably found one of the few kid-friendly tattoos out there! What I mean is your arm is like a whole "Sponge Bob" episode!
What inspired you to go with a "Sponge Bob" tattoo as opposed to "Invader Zim?" I remember your having worn quite a few "Invader Zim" teeshirts in your pictures around here, and I am actually surprised you did not get a Gir tattoo.

Oh gir is on there!! He is on top of reptar :) I couldn't leave gir out never!!! And with spongebob its probably my favorite cartoon out there. I grew up with rugrats rocko catdog angry beavers and all that but spongebob came out a little later and I've been watching it for years since 1999 I believe so its been 13 years and I watch a lot of spongebob
I think I see Gir on your tattoo, and I am glad that you had worked him into your idea. Gosh, you are so creative, and it is really fascinating how you managed to get all of your childhood favourites all in one tattoo! My hat goes off to you for having such creativity!

My parents got me a spongebob shirt for Xmas I love wearing it lol but yeah I just told the artist hey this is what I want and he drew out all the characters and we pieced them together and created that. And what was nice is he was very familiar with those characters especially spongebob he said he had been waiting for someone to want a spongebob tattoo lol he was excited to do this tattoo.
It only took a little after two hours and it didn't really hurt which was nice the ones on my back were way more painful than this one.

That is really good that this tattoo was not too painful and that it only took around two hours. The artist really is quite talented for being able to bring your idea into reality, and his/her work is excellent. No question you should get credit for having the idea in the first place, but I will give credit to the artist for his close attention to detail and the excellent results on your arm.
Do you plan on colouring your tattoo sometime in the future, or will you leave it black/white. In all honesty, you cannot go wrong either way, and I do like contrast of the tattoo with your skin.

I do want to get it colored... Money is the only issue right now. Eventually I will get it done it will be awhile though before I can start. And it will probably take a long time to finish I will most likely throw down a hundred here and a hundred there so we will see.
OH and I'm thinking about getting angry beavers and maybe catdog on the inside of my arm just to make it go all around :)

I see what you mean, and it is best to save up your money for the basics. You have a good idea to colour your tattoo's characters gradually. If anything, I do like the non-coloured version of your tattoo because it kind of reminds me of the old time cartoons that were black/white. I guess you can say your tattoo is a nod to times when black/white was most common with animation.

You have awesome taste when it comes to cartoons, and you must have been one of the cool kids growing up! I mean you love Fords, you watch cartoons, and like football: gosh, that makes you perfect!

You gotta go to the right place!! I went to the same place for my blink tat and then I took my mom lol and I really loved the guys work so I went back to him maybe kinda get a deal?? Lol
I think every place is different too they will give you different prices just check em out is all whatever you do don't call on the phone though the Guy was getting so mad when people called asking for quotes lol
