it's like, .. .. too hard to explain, ..

they put their heart into a character they designed, then I come along at random, and say "THAT WOULD BE PERFECT FOR A CHARACTER IN A STORY I WROTE", .. and then the claws come out, along the lines of stealing characters.. why can't I draw for myself.. that kind of shiiiiiii*

That's where it crosses the line.

I want the above character, or as close as possible, to be the character in my story.

That's when and where the fur flies, and I look like the baddie..

well this character is already in a story unfortunately. but asking never hurts. and if peeps get mad with you well thats their deal. as long as you asked right ? i can see people getting touchy about their chars tho so i understand your concern .
