I'm trying out Painter X some more. This is the second version since the first didn't save the shading. Painter X has some weird save system. grrr. I liked how I did the body on the first lost version but the belly scales came out better on the second. I used the depth lofting brush and it does a decent job. I need to tweak it though. I goes too bright too quick. If I can figure that out, this will be my primary brush.

I don't really care for the brushes that mimics actual art tools since I'm going for a nice drawing instead of making it look like some painting. But I might use them for some effects and such. I can't find a crop tool nor even a simple smear. *shrugs* I had to return to Paint Shop Pro to crop and paste my logo (Paint Shop sucks at cropping and pasting compare to PSP). PSP makes it so much powerful and quicker to boot.

Now I got to texture the wings and horn. I have a few ideas to try out. Plus I forgot to add my ears. I tend to forget them. I also need to darken the whole thing but that shouldn't be too much of a problem. I'll do it at the end to keep it consistent. Overall, i think it's coming along nicely.
