This is my first drawing of an anthro-otter, or rather any otter...
I bought my first drawing-tablet-thingy (a Bamboo Capture) a few days ago to try to get my toes into the medium of digital art.
I'd love any tips or feedback from experienced artists or furries or really anyone, haha. Thanks, seeya!

Thanks, so do I! :3 This is my first furry creation but I plan to do countless more and if I can manage to get my drawings to be recognizable as characters (err I'm not sure how to explain better.. uh so that Wes looks like Wes in all drawings of him and not a bunch of random otters), he will be my main toon that I draw :3 I'm thinking of changing his color scheme or giving him identifying markings and such too.. who knows, I just wanna keep drawing, digital art is a ton of fun, haha.
This looks really good for your first ever anthro work!
I would say to work on learning and getting the anatomy of both animal and human muscles down since your proportions are pretty good but learning where the muscles are will bring much more definition to his body and create much more believable anatomy since right now some places (such as his back/shoulder area) are not quite correct!
But this is over all really impressive for first digital and first anthro I think... much better than my first attempt ever was lol

Haha thanks! :3 yeah I'll be sure to look a little closer at the muscle structure of humans and whatever animal I'm drawing next time. I examining the muscle structure so in-depth-ly.. (>.>) never occurred to me. Well, I never actively thought about it really anyways. Thanks for the feedback, I'm sure it will improve my next piccy :3
