"Someone doesn't get to be as methodical and cautious as he does without having suffered some sort of catastrophic failure. It's simply not in a man's nature to so religiously weigh risk versus reward on every matter without letting your exhaustion or arrogance get the best of you now and then. That is certainly not to say he shies away from action at the slightest mention of risk. No, if the risk on a given task is deemed minimal, he plays the numbers game. Whereas if the risk is too great, he culls it back to acceptable levels using the most reliable tools available. Which more often than not are his blood-stained, earth-caked bare hands."
Note: This is an amazing piece that of artwork that I commissioned from
DemonRoni of a certain knight that has shown up intermittently in my story. Yeah, yeah I may have said his armor was one set of colors in the text and yet he's now sporting another set of colors in the picture. Sue me. Anywho, I believe DemonRoni is still open for commissions, so why not take a gander at what he has to offer?
