I'm not as good of a "photographer" as
yarrick or
mouring for sure.
A lot of it is post production.
This picture was taken with a super-zoom since my real lens "Broke" as you might of saw. It's a tamron 28-300 VC I got this lens because I wanted a lower price super zoom and at the time they were the only game in town under $1,000. But honestly the lens I used at FCN for 2 days wasn't a VC and the stuff I take for wildlife is handheld. And I do shutter
But I have a little bit of extra post work to get "the look" I am doing across almost all the FCN photos.
A lot of the sharpness/look comes from post operations.
I would be willing to look at your pictures "raw" that you take and show you how I would help post process them if you would like. I could do it through a stream if that would help.
I'm not about hiding my techniques.
My stuff I know isn't secrets.
So if a stream would help or just showing how i do it.

It's still a wonderful image. I was photographed by no less than 3-5 people while laying here trying to nap, and i'll bet that the images don't look the same. The angle you have is unique to your image, ad the changes and touch-ups while "standard Practices" are still your own tastes.
Thanks for making my bad side look good. x3

Nod nod
Well Lightroom 4 is what I use. It's not just for the image processor but the "work flow". The work flow for me is the reason why I use it.
DXO (best overall image), Bibble 5 (nice noise handling), and Capture One(best for tethered shots). Are the other 3 people will talk about on the windows side. Ooverall workflow I give the nod to LIghtroom and anything that speeds up/makes the workflow fun wins out for me. It's "good enough" on the picture side for me but the work flow is outstanding for me.
While I've tried the other 3 I haven't tried Corel Aftershot Pro which just came out. I haven't heard a OMG reason for me but it is made by the people who made Bibble. I'll probably try it in a few months just to see how it works. Currently they are the cheapest.

HE HE you should but it would ruin a great shot ;)
I am happy - it's a stylization I'm doing on pics this round. Partly to entertain myself when I post pics here.
I don't mind at all - after all it's you! I put my (C) to make sure it doesn't go on weird sites or not to the person who's suit it is.
Just give me a link where you post it. I just like to know if people are commenting so i can use it to figure out later on how to improve myself. And if all possible forward me messages if it gets something interesting good or bad talked about...
Again thanks for being a good subject and I am glad to have help make a good memory for you.
