"As the clothes completed their look. their bodies soaked in the lovely lights of the club, and became as beautiful as the ravers around them. They didn't question it - the music was too good. The lights beaming through their visors were too beautiful, and their rave sister was too warm for them to care. Slowly they blocked out all else that didn't entice them and the two blended in with the crowd - two more mindless raver slaves."
Technically the final part in the streamed sequence for my anonymous patron, though there was an extra part after he left.
Generally speaking, I don't like anything about raver culture, but lots of things are fun when put into the context of brainwashing.

Wat?! You... You don't like anything about raver culture?! Blasphemy!
Na, I kid, I can't blame you seeing as my problem I have with a lot of the Rave scene is I have known many ravers, talked to others that know ravers, and heard plenty of stories. Drugs are rampant at raves, acid, ecstasy, cocaine in some cases, among other things, all resulting in them escalating more and more as time goes on. I knew a guy, did 5 or more hits of ecstasy a night at raves cause he had such a tolerance to it that was the only way he could feel it right. He also told me, sex on ecstasy is the worst idea cause it's the most amazing feeling, but when you aren't on it, sex is never the same.
It's for that reason that I find the culture is a bit extreme and drug-dependent more often then not, but actual raves are great places to be when smaller and at any point you can leave, take a break, and come back as is often at fur cons like FWA. What I hate more than those people though is people that charge $4 or more a bottle of water at those that are drugged up often resulting in people nearly dying as opposed to having free water dispensers or just selling water for no more than $2 a bottle, still more than from a store, but no more than 50 cents or so a bottle.
Still, there is something about a dark room, full of neon colored and black lights; music with enough bass and beat to make anyone that loves music get into it on some level (when done right anyway), that is some what intoxicating. I love the energy of raves, the music I can get behind even if not my most fav genre (rock concerts awesome enough for good mosh pits <3), the lights and darkness is a real awesome comfort, but you never want to go to a rave with a headache as I found out one year at FWA and their rave that year. XD Since then, I bring a bunch of pain pills with me to get rid of headaches and sore bodies after long nights.
