The night was cold and clear, only the stars were watching.
Suddenly, she heard a strange noise, followed by a bright light.
She didn't know yet that this would be the night that changed everything.
I like giving pictures only a hint of story, leaving the interpretation up to people's imagination. :]
Done with Photoshop and Wacom tablet.

Awesome artwork!
Also have you ever tried one of those part writing stories? One person starts it, and then someone else takes over, and then someone else, and so on until you have a story. The segments don't have to be long or anything. It's fun when people leave off their segments with, "And then she turned around, and was shocked by what she saw. For when she turned around she..." Or something like that. They're fun.

The night that changed everything in my opinion was Saturday Night, EF17. Bitter Lake premiered, proving that The Fandom can be ultimate in creativity, to produce a feature-length production.
Oh, and
nachtfuchs proposed to you.

That's a lovely picture. And while I usually lurk and just watch your account, I think this one deserves a moment of my time for some feedback. I don't favorite everything, but this one gets it :)
At first I saw a stunning and meaningful image - something you do well at but nailed it here. I love the lighting, the detail, and the style of the image. The background is impressive!
But, to help qualify the good I saw, here's some of the negatives I saw (maybe not an issue, just stuff that caught my eye): The detail of the topright tree seems to exceed the detail of the rest of the picture, especially when compared to the rocks. Also, while the face is well done and expressive, it also seems a bit lacking in detail compared to his/her other fur and depth. The texture of it seems simple and plain somehow.
I love the light, the clouds, the trees in the background, and the water. It inspires a stunning scene :) Well done!

I love it! It literally choked me up and brought tears to my eyes.

It starts out like every other coming of age story of a young fox. He is chasing a spectacularly beautiful butterfly, which stays just ahead of him. Then everything changes...

I like to think it's Tunguska. Maybe it could have been Tsar Bomba however
Beautiful pic. The way you drew lighting on the critter is awesome. Also is how you draw fur.
all around good, if not a little weird because of the blast. lol. but we can call that creativity :)
I like to think the critter survives (I bet there are estimates of altitude of detonation for either Tunguska detonation or the other thing. With that you could do the math and see how far away it was. sorry if somebody gets upset or something now after actually doing that)
Thanks for sharing, in general
