I went to Toonfest last weekend, and this is the first picture I'm posting from that.
Jay Jackson has been an animator on such movies as The Fox & The Hound, The Little Mermaid, and The Simpsons Movie. I first requested a sketch of Copper, from Fox & The Hound, because I wanted to draw my fox character with him, but it's been over 20 years since he's drawn Copper, so he asked if maybe he should draw Pumba, because he recently animated him in a commercial. Considering The Lion King is my favorite movie of all time, SURE. After he started, he realized he wasn't quite as practiced on Pumba as he hoped. It turned out well anyway. I then realized that maybe I should have had him draw Pumba next to my own drawing of Timon, of which I showed him. His exact quote was, "You don't really need ME then!", with a smile.
The two drawings below are by Gary and Glen McCoy(They draw The Flying McCoys). I approached Gary first, and wasn't sure what to have him draw, since I don't follow his comic(I should). Therefore, he drew the naked guy and wrote, "Thank God I'm cropped". I then went over to his brother and asked him to "sabotage" Gary's drawing. Sibling rivalry is fun. He didn't realize until he was mostly finished that the other character was naked. That's when he made sure his character's fly was closed.
