XD Ahhh, I thought that's what it meant, but I've heard people refer to mice as meezers once or twice. Lol they're so pretty! There's one at my local no-kill right now named Tiramisu. If I wasn't soooo allergic to cats, I'd probably try to adopt her.

awwrrr... They are such fickle beasts but so sweet once they have their claws in you and you've been properly trained.

i knoooooow! :D I can't wait to make my basset fursuit to do the charity stuff for the rescue lol. I'm planning on putting magnets in the tips of the ears so I can fold them up over the eyes like "oh noes" :)

That's a brilliant idea! :D I'd also recommend putting some kind of durable wire in the ears, to make them more posable. You could even make them stick straight up! xD

I love his face markings. He also doesn't have that extremely sad look going on that I've seen quite a few have. He looks kinda' perky and interested. :D Have fun with your new baby. You and Bassests sounds like my husband with Siamese. Hence, we have two of those right now. :)

What happened!?!?

A week ago (to the day actually, weird), we woke up and he had this huge baseball sized lump at the base of his skull. Took him to the emergency vet, they drained it and sent us home. Less than 24 hours later, it had totally refilled, so I made an appointment with the regular vet. They poked at it, said the fluid wasn't infection based, and we scheduled surgery for thursday. So thursday Quig got 2 holes poked in the back of his head and to make sure that all of the fluid pockets got drained, they left what looked like a shoestring in his head and we had to "floss" it every 6 hours. Did that for a couple days, and then yesterday morning, took him in for a checkup and they clipped it out so we're just doing compresses and making sure it stays clean till it heals. Not 100% sure what caused it still, but hoping it just doesn't come back.
