This is a pic I took when volunteer at a wolf center. The Alpha (highest ranked wolf) is the white wolf named Apache, the beta (second in command) is the brown wolf named Lukas and the omega (lowest ranked wolf) is the little gray wolf named Kaila. You can see the different body looks between the white wolf and the brown one, the white is a higher rank so his head is up and ears forward. The brown one is lower ranked so his ears are back and his head is down in respect to his alpha.
