WRC has lost a star, Though I like the Rockstar STi that he drove at the Xgames, or his old Rally Subaru, at least you could get those in AWD turbo, unlike the focus.

As an avid WRC fan, the news about Colin's death fell heavy in my heart. I was really hoping he would come back to the WRC scene in the upcoming years and show why he was one of the best.
Its pilots like McRae, Gronholm, Solberg, Gali, and all the other public-friendly and charismatic pilots that give that special aura to Rally.
He will be missed and forever remembered.

What the hell when did Colin Mcrae kick the bucket?!

Last saturday.

That is a great loss to rally. What did he die of and at what age?

The Helicopter he was flying crashed. He was with his 5 year old son, a friend of his and a friend of his son. He died at the age of 39.

Dammit. Why do cool people always gotta die so crappily. He was what got me really interested in rally at a young age.
