A little race I've been working on for a while. Not sure on exactly all the details but it's a spin on the original homunculus, created by alchemists. These creatures have evolved though, no longer needing the alchemist to procreate. They are often asexual, though they can manifest with male or female parts. They can also be genderless, as they reproduce by combining their animus lifeforce (magicks) with another to create a new one. They take different traits based on their magickal skill and interests. This one has extra eyes for processing written information at a higher speed. It loves to read and also collects stones and jewelry. His hon-nyan, a type of mage familiar, functions as an intelligent bookmark, keeping a codex of knowledge and helping the hymunculus with small tasks that it can perform. The hon-nyan can take on many different forms like the hymunculus, often having similar tastes and personality traits. There are a few that can be the complete opposite, however. I'm currently working on the colored version and tweaking some of the information, not sure how it will turn out. ;w;
