These are the steps leading to a abandoned schoolyard.
The site sets on 270. We were making a geocache trip form Runestone park outside of Heavener, Ok to Robbers cave state park outside of Willburton, ok; One of the caches was hidden inside the old school yard.
"school steps" is located on Hwy 270 just east of Red Oak. About 20 miles outside of Wilburton.

wow - dude - ever since I was very small, I have LOVED places like this..! Broken, eroding, abandoned structures... Even just less-cool stuff like abandoned lots with old foundations in them - signs of civilization as its slowly re-embraced by mother nature... there's something, intrinsically poetic - and just... mystical, I guess... when the human imprint breaks apart, the same way plate tectonics works... some parts grow, other parts collapse or fall into the sea... it's just in this case - the 'sea' is the sea of green that is re-establishing wilderness... COOL shot/pic man... : 3
