This is the main character of the children's book I'm illustrating - a moth named Lily. I drew her with a couple of coloring styles to see which one the author likes best. Now that I look at it again though, there's really not that much variation - I'll have to do some more work on it later.

Actually.. the entire thing went to hell. She never even saw these images because she's so computer illiterate she couldn't figure out how to check her email, I guess, and then I got in a fight with her boyfriend and it all just fell apart. *sigh* So I'm not illustrating anymore. It's okay.. I don't really have the talent for it anyway. :-/

But really, I think you do have the talent - even if your art doesn't satisfy you at times (trust me I know how that feels), eh, at worst you can work on what you don't like and *pop*, in no time you'll do it like a charm.
Too bad that one thing didn't go anywhere, though... but there's still plenty of opportunities ahead, no?
