I just wanted to draw a character with tentacles and I come up with a new breed of porcupine-thingies *lol*
This girl's name is Dalima meaning Daughter of Dalma, Dalma being the name of their kind as well as their deity. They have a patriarchal rule in the clans but the clan leader is always lead by the elderly females when their guidance and decisions are needed. They are a burrow living creatures, the burrows being the private quarters that is lead from a tent that is the social quarters.
Their fur colorations go from green to brown and some cases even as dark as black. The tail ends in a bush of scale like plates that hides spikes in between that can be, if threatened, dislodged on impact much like the spikes of a porcupine. The smaller scales on her back is for stealth communication to clan members, but also rattles to scare or warn enemies of, same with the tail scales. The tentacles is for hunting, battle and of course mating. (duh) The number of tentacles goes from 2 to rare number of 6, 3 and 4 being the most common.
