Yeesh, that's nasty. There's nothing that can be quite so dangerous as a fundamentalist - of any type.

If Pendleton has eaten at least 100 chicken mcnugget then (according to KFC's own figures - which they are proud of) he's responsible for at least one chicken dying in a very non instantaneous and horribly painful way. He believes this kind of animal cruelty is not just acceptable, but *entirely morally justified* by his desire or a quick lunch snack.

When alternatives come along that allow him to have the same tasty snack, but without the cruelty, he insists on continuing to use the traditional method, obstinately to maintain his 'culture'.

How is that not also fundamentalist? :)
