Never did tell you how I made it I guess. I used a ref at the time but couldn't trace it so I tried get the basic look at least. The program (Fireworks) I used at the time has a nifty curve tool too. I see that there are a couple of errors here and there but this is one is among my personal favorites.
This one I used Fireworks (part of Flash package), I drew it freehand (no scanner) but it took me over nine hours total, I spent the most time on the characters and skimped on the bg here, but not too much I think. These days I scan into Paint.NET and do the tracing and lineart there. I finish up with Fireworks still, because it's easier to use than Photoshop.
I'm never gonna finnish dat tut i think, u are already doing most of what i was gonna explain anyway ^^;
